These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Yassine Malti ("we", "us") for REMOVEit, a Shopify app that removes or replaces product image backgrounds with AI, and for this website.
By installing or using REMOVEit, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you use REMOVEit for a business, you confirm that you can bind that business.
The service
REMOVEit can remove or replace product image backgrounds in bulk, on a schedule, or for products you pick, then save the edited images to Shopify. Plans, limits, and features can change. We may add, change, or remove a feature, or pause the service for maintenance.
Who may use REMOVEit
- You are at least 18, or the age of majority where you live
- You have a Shopify store and the authority to install apps on it
- You will follow these terms and the laws that apply to your store
Your store and your content
You keep ownership of your images and of the edited images REMOVEit creates for your store. You confirm you have the rights needed to use those images. You allow us to access, process, and store that material only to provide and support REMOVEit. You are responsible for the images that are saved.
An edited background can clip the product, invent detail, or otherwise be wrong. Review images before you publish them. REMOVEit does not promise rankings, traffic, or sales.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law, or infringe someone else's rights, with content you publish through REMOVEit
- Use images or other material you do not have the right to use
- Try to break, probe, or overload the app or the systems that run it
- Resell or share access to the app, except as part of operating your own store
- Misuse credits, referrals, or billing
- Use the app to create unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content
Plans, credits, and billing
Paid plans, credit packs, and prices are shown in the app and on the Shopify App Store. Shopify bills your store in USD. Subscriptions renew every 30 days, or once a year if you choose annual billing, until you cancel. Shopify may add tax where the law requires it. Except where the law says otherwise, fees are not refundable after a billing period has started or after credits have been used.
You can change or cancel a plan from the app or from your Shopify admin. Cancellation stops the next charge. Access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, unless we end these terms because of a serious breach.
Third-party services
REMOVEit depends on Shopify and uses Gemini Nano Banana Pro to edit images. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for their outages or decisions. See the Shopify Terms of Service for Shopify's rules.
Our intellectual property
We own REMOVEit, including its software, design, and name. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app for your Shopify store while you follow these terms. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the app, except where the law does not allow that limit.
Disclaimers
REMOVEit is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that generated content will be accurate or original.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for claims related to REMOVEit in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for REMOVEit in that period, or 100 USD, whichever is greater. Some regions do not allow these limits. Where they do not, the limits apply only as far as the law allows.
Indemnity
You will cover us against claims that arise from your store content, your use of REMOVEit, or your breach of these terms, except to the extent a claim is caused by our own misconduct.
Ending access
You may uninstall REMOVEit at any time. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the app. We will give notice when that is reasonable. Sections that should survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability, and indemnity, stay in effect.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date at the top. If you keep using REMOVEit, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, uninstall the app.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts in Ottawa, Ontario, are the exclusive venue, except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
