What does the Image Quality Score measure?
The Image Quality Score on Home averages two things: how many images your products have and how many are high resolution (1024 × 1024 or more).

The score combines images per product and image resolution, where high resolution means at least 1024 × 1024 pixels. A score of 80 or more is Excellent and 60 or more is Good.
It does not judge backgrounds, so replacing backgrounds will not raise it by itself. Adding more and larger photos will.
