If image has cluttered or unprofessional background, or if product needs clean background. Also replace if background is distracting, contains other products, or doesn't match brand aesthetic.
What it does
It targets photos with busy, distracting or inconsistent backgrounds and leaves clean studio shots alone. This is a good starting point for most catalogs.
When to change it
- Make it stricter, such as only if the background is not plain white, to standardize every photo
- Make it narrower, such as only if the photo shows a person or hand, for a specific clean-up
