Decide how many times a recurring task runs in total.
Number of repetitions sets how many times a recurring task runs. Choose 1 time, 3 times, 6 times or 12 times.
How runs are counted
- The first scheduled run counts as one repetition
- Each run that ends as Completed or Completed with errors moves the count forward and schedules the next date
- When all runs are done, the automation shows All runs completed and the status Finished
Examples
Weekly with 12 repetitions covers about three months. Monthly with 12 repetitions covers a year. To keep going afterwards, create a new recurring task with the same settings.
