Why can't I repeat a task that runs now?
Recurring tasks need a scheduled first run, so the time of day can be repeated. Choose Schedule this task to run later, then enable repeating.

A recurring task repeats at the same time of day as its first run, so it needs a scheduled start. If you pick Add to queue now with repeating on, the wizard shows Recurring tasks must be scheduled for later.
Choose Schedule this task to run later, set a start a few minutes ahead, then tick Make this task repeat in the future.
