Why does REMOVEit need access to my Files?
REMOVEit uploads each new image to your store before attaching it to the product, so it needs Files access along with products and listings.

Each edited image is uploaded to your store, which is why it also appears under Content > Files. That upload needs the Files permission.
Products access is used to read images and replace them, and product listings and collections access is used to find the products in the collections you select. Nothing else in your store is changed.
