Why do new images show up in Shopify Files?
REMOVEit uploads each edited image to your store before attaching it to the product, so the new images also appear under Content and Files.

Each new image is uploaded to your store first, then attached to the product. That is why you also see it under Content > Files in your admin.
This is normal and does not affect your storefront. The product gallery shows the new image at the position of the original one.
